How Yo Make The New Year Positive

I always have loved the week between Christmas and New Year's Day. It is a fun time of year filled with Christmas memories and I look forward to New Year's, but I also have the opportunity to look back at the past year to take inventory of our favorite memories. Along with the end to one year of memories comes the start to a new year. For some, this is just a flip of the calendar. But to others, it is a fresh start to a new beginning

In order to close out one year and start another in a positive way, you must let go of any negative thoughts you've been harboring about the events of last year. Avoid thinking that nothing will change in the New Year, or that things will always be undesirable. A New Year is a clean slate. What happened is in the past and before you lies a new future.

The key is to set your mind on how things will be better this year. By focusing your mind on what you want, as opposed to what you don’t want, you’ll be able to see last year’s setbacks in a different light. Seeing a setback as a challenge that you can overcome, even if it takes some time, will allow you to continue moving forward, even when things aren't going your way.

Even the happiest people have challenges. Just like you, at times they struggle and feel beat down. The difference is that they get back up again and focus on solutions rather than problems.

How Can We Cope If Our Own Children Can Not Be With Us On Christmas ?

Of course, we all look forward to the Christmas Holidays with Family and especially with our Children. As adults, we remember as a Child the excitement and love that we experienced around the Christmas Tree on Christmas morning ...But, how are we as adults expected to cope if our own Children can not be with us (because of divorce), on that special morning. There is no easy answer. Perhaps, we as adults need to look toward a Positive Future and know that Christmas always comes. That is the Marvelous Message from the Christ Child to us even though our Children can not be with us on this Christmas. It is The Faith of This Message that will gives us the support, so that we still enjoy a Christmas without our own Children. And know deep within our Hearts, that our Children will be with Us in their own "spiritual" way, when a Positive Future Christmas will come again .

The True Meaning Of Christmas !

Our society seems to be so much more commercial these days when it comes to Christmas. You can walk in any store days before Halloween and already the Christmas decorations are coming out and pre-packaged gifts are on sale.
However, we need to remember the real meaning of Christmas as adults so that our children will not end up so caught up in Christmas being about getting presents and Santa coming that that’s all they will be looking forward to.
The real meaning of Christmas of course is the birth of Christ. Without any of that there wouldn't even be a Christmas. Even if you don’t do it now, you can start a new tradition of reading the Christmas story from the bible each Christmas Eve so that children begin to understand the real meaning of Christmas.
We all think our children are special when they are born and each and every one of them are, however, when Christ was born in Bethlehem there was no baby more special than Him. He was not created the way other children are created. He was created by a Heavenly being and that is what made Him so special...Kristen Carol Anderson

Looking At The Ultimate Goal For "Power Of Positivity"

It has been just 4 months that my e-book ,"Power Of Positivity" has been published on Smashwords

https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/86502

I am  pleased that  over 35 e-books have been sold and that 122 e-books have been downloaded. Although I have tried to build upon my own positivity in the last 27 year, I never dreamed of the success this e-book has brought  to others dealing with bipolar disorder. I am over joyed with the six "Reviews" that have been posted on the above link at Smashwords. I keep looking for more personal feedback from everyone (bipolar or not ), on how they feel that "Power of Positivity" has helped them in their own life. This perhaps, is the ultimate goal that I know this e-book needs to achieve. I'm hoping that this blog will be the vehicle to provide that positive feedback.
