I've always sought t...I'm a people-pleaser. I've always sought the approval of others and it's something that I have to work on everyday. Since I've been diagnosed and now recognize my limits, it's become easier to say no. Over-commitment to things was always something that eventually lead to an episode. The stress it caused was too much. It's taken a toll on my life to realize this but now that I do life is much easier. Therapy has helped with this as well. I think knowing your limits goes hand-in-hand with failure or a lack thereof. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
